Our mission is to care for the health of the Internet and all machines connected to it. In a world where human and machine intelligence are becoming inseparably connected, caring for one means caring for the other.

It runs on rough consensus and voluntary cooperation, and it works because everyone who participates agrees to follow the same protocols.

The Internet connects people across every border humans have drawn, enables ideas to travel at the speed of light, and gives anyone with a connection access to the collective knowledge of our species. We believe understanding its infrastructure, monitoring its health, and building a record of its evolution is work worth doing.

Connected is founded by Kirk Ouimet and Kameron Sheffield, who both have passion for technology. The journey began over 15 years ago with Kirk's creation of YouGetSignal, a popular network tools website that has served over 30 million people globally. Connected.app is the evolution of that vision, designed for a more complex and interconnected digital world.
